On the meeting with a management of Czech power equipment producer JSC «Mavel»

Parties expressed mutual satisfaction with the successful experience of cooperation of the Czech company with Belarus in the framework of the construction of the Grodno and Polotsk hydropower plants.

The Belarusian party proposed to use opportunities of realization of bilateral projects within the framework of interregional cooperation which has developed in recent years.

Czech businessmen expressed his company’s interest in implementing similar projects in the near future, including the possibility of creating, in collaboration with European and US partners, on the territory of the Republic of Belarus of a power plant operator with direct foreign investments.

In addition, JSC «Mavel» is studying the possibility to start an internship programs on its company basis for graduates from Belarusian technical universities for further cooperation on projects within the territory of the Eurasian Economic Union.
