On the 16th meeting of the Belarusian-Czech Working Group on Cooperation in the Energy Sector in the Czech Republic

From November 28 to December 1, 2017 a delegation of representatives of energy and petrochemical enterprises of the Republic of Belarus headed by the Director General of the State Production Association on Fuel and Gasification «Beltopgas» Leonid Rudinsky participated in the activities of the 16th meeting of the Belarusian-Czech working group on cooperation in the energy sector in the Czech Republic.

On November 29, 2017 the official meeting of the Belarusian-Czech Working Group on Energy Cooperation with the participation of the Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of the Republic of Belarus to the Czech Republic Valery Kurdyukov was held.

Parties discussed the current state of cooperation in the energy and petrochemical sector, identified new promising areas for cooperation, including the establishment of joint ventures on the territory of the Republic Belarus for the production of power equipment and for construction and operation of hydroelectric power stations, as well as for attracting Belarusian specialists to implement projects in the energy sector on the territory of the Czech Republic. The results of the negotiations and the agreements reached are fixed in the protocol of the meeting of the working group.

On November 30, 2017, the Belarusian delegation will continue to visit companies of the energy complex of the Czech Republic to get acquainted with their production capabilities and to hold detailed negotiations.
